دعا نائب وزير الخارجية الإيراني سعيد خطيب زاده، خلال زيارته بيروت، الحكومة اللبنانية إلى «تسليح الجميع» بدل نزع السلاح، في حديث إلى قناة «الجديد» نقله موقع «نهارنت»، معتبراً أن قرار انخراط حزب الله في أي حرب جديدة يعود إلى الحزب لا إلى طهران.
والتقى خطيب زاده الرئيس نبيه بري وقيادة الحزب، بحسب «الشرق الأوسط»، وقال إن المفاوضات مع إسرائيل «لا جدوى منها». ورأت مصادر لبنانية أن نبرته تشكّل تدخلاً يرفضه معظم اللبنانيين، وتأتي بعد أيام من مطالبة وزير الخارجية اللبناني إيران بوقف تسليح الحزب وتمويله.
